Thomas J. Christensen
Thomas J. Christensen is Associate Professor of Political Science at MIT. A China specialist, he focuses on Chinese foreign and security policy and East Asian international relations. He is the author of the book Useful Adversaries: Grand Strategy, Domestic Mobilization, and Sino-American Conflict, 1947-58 and articles in the journals International Security and World Politics. His current research addresses relations among the United States, China, and Japan in the Cold War and post-Cold War eras, as well as the role of ideology and nationalism in Chinese foreign policy and grand strategy.Videos Featuring Thomas J.
